Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant at Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio, where she continued her interest in performing on theatre. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working as a theatre actor in the Chicago area for several years, before attempting her luck in TV as well as film roles. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big part in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a on several TV shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. She also starred in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was a different film that she starred in. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in the marriage he shares with Skyler is mirrored in the television show.
